Episode 10: Großmüller Woodwind Workshop

Thoughts and Reflections

It was clear from my visit, that Marton and Csenge did their research about my channel before I showed up. Primarily, to be able to tell their fascinating story to represent themselves. Secondarily, to prepare answers, as English is not their first language. In any/all visits in which I interview, I am always insanely grateful and impressed with the instruments doing interviews in their non-native language. I really only speak one language fluently, so it's hard to wrap my head around it. I do hope to challenge myself to do interviews in some of my other (work-in-progress) episodes in the future. That will be a surprise for my audience when that happens!

Anyways, the release of this episode was purposefully meant to coincide with Valentine's Day. They are the only instrument-making couple I had interviewed. Although, Marton and Csenge's personal lives are distinct from their professional brand, their partnership undeniably affects the amazing collaboration and work that they do.

They are right at the beginning of their careers, so I'm excited to see what's in store for them as they continue to gain footing and experience.
